a Small Learning Community at Franklin Elementary School
Socrates focuses on developing its students thinking skills for school and the real world.

The members of Socrates are committed to building a strong community. The teachers plan together, both at their grade level and across grade levels. Teachers, students, and families have many opportunities to interact academically and socially throughout the school year.

Socrates aims to have everyone, including the students, their families, teachers, and other community members, work together to support students as they achieve their goals.
ABOUT US
​Socrates is a Small Learning Community (SLC) at Franklin Elementary School. We are composed of two classes per grade level:

Kindergarten: Ms. Dinh and Miss My Le
​First Grade: Miss Beilby and Ms. Hatakeyama
​Second Grade: Ms. Do and Ms. Gomez
​Third Grade: Ms. Aulwurm and Mrs. Takacs
​
Socrates has been a part of the Franklin community
since 2007.
